About this space
What a broker who has walked it will tell you
The Vortex runs coworking space and serviced offices at ABM Building, at 20 Jalan Kilang just off Jalan Bukit Merah. The Vortex is a small Singapore workspace operator. The building sits in Bukit Merah, a working neighbourhood west of the city centre, a few minutes by car from Redhill and Tiong Bahru.
This is not a walk-to-the-MRT address. The nearest stations are Labrador Park on the Circle line and Tiong Bahru on the East West line, and both are a bus ride rather than a walk. Buses along Jalan Bukit Merah run to both, and most teams here drive or take the bus.
A dedicated desk runs from S$450 a month. Private offices average about S$800 per person a month, at one flat rate from one person to twenty.
ABM Building is a low-rise commercial building on Jalan Kilang, and The Vortex runs a small centre here: private offices, dedicated desks and hot desks, with the operator on site rather than a corporate reception team. It feels closer to a shophouse office than a tower floor. It makes sense for a small team that works on the west side of the city and does not need clients to find them in the CBD. Lunch is the neighbourhood itself, with the coffee shops and food centres of Bukit Merah and Redhill a few minutes away. We can show you The Vortex at ABM Building on a normal working day and negotiate the rent you sign.
