How we are paid
Why the advice is free, and why that is not a catch
Operators pay a placement fee when a client signs coming from their Marketing Budgets. That fee is already priced into their model whether a broker is involved or not, so using us does not add anything to your rate. It is the reason we can spend a week on a search that ends in a HK$9,000 a month office.
It also means we have no reason to push you at one operator over another. We are paid roughly the same wherever you land, so the only thing that improves our position is you being happy enough to come back at the next renewal.
What we do not do: charge you, mark up a rate, or take a listing fee to feature a building higher up the page.
