It used to be called BOC Group Life Assurance Tower, and some maps still say so.
Sheung Wan station is 390 metres away, five minutes on foot, on the Island line. Hong Kong station is 470 metres away, six minutes, for the Airport Express and the Tung Chung line. The tram runs along Des Voeux Road Central outside the door.
Compass Offices is on floors 9 to 12. Rooms take one person to more than twenty and come furnished. You are signing a service agreement rather than a lease: three month minimum, two month deposit, three months' notice. A room for one is HK$3,200 a month and a room for four is 121 sq ft at HK$12,800. Compass says the floors take plenty of natural light and are open 24 hours, with its own IT staff on site.
The walk from Sheung Wan station is along Des Voeux Road Central with no cover. Compass takes floors 9 to 12, the middle of the building.
Gilman's Bazaar runs from the door through to Queen's Road Central with more than 20 restaurants on it, and L Place next door is given over to dining.
