9 Queen's Road Central is a 39 floor tower, 187 metres tall, opened in October 1991 to an Art Deco design by Wong Tung and Partners. Hongkong Land owns it. The podium at the base is retail and the office floors sit above it. The building connects straight into the Central Elevated Walkway, the covered footbridge network that runs across this part of the district, and The Landmark is on the same network.
Central station is 270 metres away, three minutes on foot, out of Exit K, where the Island and Tsuen Wan lines meet. Hong Kong station is 640 metres away, eight minutes, for the Airport Express and the Tung Chung line.
Compass Offices opened the 10th floor here in July 2026. Furnished rooms hold one person to more than twenty. It is a service agreement, three months at the shortest, with a two month deposit and three months to give notice. A room for one is 33 sq ft at HK$6,000 a month and a room for eight is 276 sq ft at HK$48,000. The floor has boardrooms built to a high specification that double as event space. Compass also builds offices to suit firms licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission, and racks client servers on site.
The walk from Central station can be fully covered on the Elevated Walkway. The office lifts sit behind the podium shopfronts, which a first-time visitor should know.
The rooms are compact: 33 sq ft for one person and 98 sq ft for three. There is no harbour view from the 10th floor.
