About Eaton House
Who Eaton House Are
Eaton House opened in June 2016 as the members workspace inside the hotel at 380 Nathan Road. Katherine Lo built the Eaton Workshop brand around it, and the hotel reopened as Eaton HK in 2018, redesigned by the New York studio AvroKO.
There are two Eaton Workshop properties, one in Hong Kong and one in Washington DC. A member of one works at the other.
For a tenant, that means the office comes with a hotel attached. The rooftop pool, the gym, the yoga room and a 50 seat cinema come with the membership.
Where They Are In Hong Kong
One building: Eaton HK, 380 Nathan Road, Kowloon. The workspace takes the first and fourth floors.
The hotel is 21 storeys and 339,000 square feet. It opened on 1 November 1990, on the site of the Astor Theatre, Kowloon's first cinema.
The entrance is on Nathan Road. Ten food stalls trade on the lower ground floor, 11am to 10pm. Yat Tung Heen, the hotel's Michelin starred Cantonese restaurant, is in the building. Terrible Baby, the cocktail bar and terrace, is on the fourth floor beside the workspace.
Jordan station Exit B1 is six minutes away on foot. From the north, Yau Ma Tei station Exit C brings you to the same door. Temple Street night market and the Jade Market are two minutes' walk. West Kowloon station is 1.6 kilometres away.
What The Spaces Are Like
The fourth floor has a lounge with leather sofas, wood panelling and curved lighting rather than a bank of workstations. There is a library, a photography room and a radio studio.
Every membership carries 24 hour access, coffee, tea, water and snacks, printing and scanning, mail handling, conference room availability, showers, storage and a concierge. Pets are allowed.
Eaton House is very good at two things:
**Putting a hotel's facilities on your membership.** The rooftop pool, the gym and the yoga room are open to members. Members also get a 10 to 15 % discount at the food and drink outlets and a reduced room rate. A colleague flying in can sleep upstairs and work on your floor.
**A 50 seat cinema in the building.** Kino sits inside Eaton House and runs a 4K projector. For a launch, a client screening or a training day, the room can be booked on site.
