About Ooosh
Who Ooosh Are
Ooosh opened its first Hong Kong coworking space in 2016. It was founded by Jeffrey Cheng and it is still run from Hong Kong.
It has three centres: Central, Shau Kei Wan and Cheung Sha Wan. Ooosh says more than 500 members and over 190 local and international companies work in them. It also publishes its renewal rate, 80 % of members a year.
The workspace is one arm of a group. Ooosh Tech Lab, started in 2017, invests in web3, AI and cloud companies in Hong Kong and Singapore. For a tenant, that means a landlord with a reason to understand your business, and neighbours building the same kind of thing.
Where They Are In Hong Kong
Three buildings in three districts, one on Hong Kong Island in the west, one in the east and one in Kowloon.
The Central centre takes the 22nd floor of New World Tower 2, at 16-18 Queen's Road Central. It is four minutes from Central station, out of Exit G, and six minutes from the Central ferry piers.
Island East is a single 12,000 square foot floor. It takes the 15th floor of Eastern Central Plaza, at 3 Yiu Hing Road in Shau Kei Wan, six minutes from Shau Kei Wan station.
The Kowloon centre is on the eighth floor of Lai Cheong Factory Building, 479 Castle Peak Road in Cheung Sha Wan. It is six minutes from Lai Chi Kok station on the Tsuen Wan line.
Central and Shau Kei Wan are both on the Island line, so the two Island centres are a straight run apart.
What The Spaces Are Like
The three centres do not look alike. Central is one high floor of a modern tower on Queen's Road Central, with the lobby and the address that go with it. Island East is a wide, open floor with room to spread out. The Kowloon centre is a converted industrial unit, which is part of why Cheung Sha Wan costs what it does.
Every centre comes with business grade internet, coffee, colour printing, meeting rooms and a concierge who takes your deliveries and handles the post. Offices come furnished and serviced. The Central centre is staffed on weekdays, from 10:00 to 18:30.
Ooosh is very good at three things:
**A venture arm that backs its own members.** Ooosh Tech Lab invests in web3, AI and cloud startups. Ooosh Tech Shop sells hardware crypto wallets. The people who run the building invest in those fields.
**Room to grow in Shau Kei Wan.** Island East is 12,000 square feet on one floor. It has a meditation corner and a brainstorm circle. A team of four can take a room there and add people without changing building or address.
**One bill for a private office.** Ooosh quotes a private office as a single monthly fee. The internet, the coffee, the printing, the cleaning and the meeting rooms are inside that number. It publishes a pledge on pricing, so the number you are quoted is the number you pay.

Who Ooosh Suits
