What you get

A serviced office in Wan Chai is a furnished private room inside a business centre. Reception, meeting rooms, internet, utilities, cleaning and your business address come in one monthly price, and you can start work the week you sign.

Terms start at three months. A 12-month term usually costs less per month, so ask for both prices before you sign.

Getting there

Three stations serve the district. Wan Chai station is on the Island line, two stops from Central. Exhibition Centre station is on the East Rail line, direct to the border crossings at Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau. Admiralty, with four lines, covers the western edge.

Capital Business Centre is 50 metres from Wan Chai station, and Eaton Club at Great Eagle Centre is 150 metres from Exhibition Centre. The Airport Express runs from Hong Kong station, two stops west, with in-town check-in.

Who it suits

Getting here is easy for everyone. Three stations mean staff and clients arrive direct from the Island, Kowloon or the New Territories, most without changing trains.

The convention centre is next door. If your year includes trade fairs, Eaton Club and Regus are both within five minutes of the main entrance.

You stay two stops from Central without paying for it. Suites start at HK$2,950 a month, just under Central's HK$3,000, and the train ride is four minutes.

Serviced or coworking

In Wan Chai the step up to your own room is about HK$360 a month at the entry level: suites start at HK$2,950 and desks at HK$2,590. Many solo workers start on a desk at a coworking space in Wan Chai and take a room once the calls pick up. Teams of two or more usually go straight to the room.

Compared with nearby districts

Serviced offices in Wan Chai start at HK$2,950 a month, against HK$3,000 in Causeway Bay and HK$2,992 in Admiralty.

The market

Wan Chai is filling up with firms moving out of Central's price range. Vacancy across Wan Chai and Causeway Bay fell to 9.8% in May 2026, the lowest in ten months, and rents edged up 0.3% as that demand arrived.

For anyone signing this year, centres here still have rooms to fill, so there is room to talk on rate, but the best priced suites are going first.
