Who Net-Work Are

Net-Work opened in May 2025. It is the flexible workspace brand of Hang Lung Properties, the Hong Kong landlord that owns the building it sits in.

The brand runs one centre in Hong Kong and a sister brand, HANGOUT, in mainland China. A Net-Work membership covers both.

For a tenant, that means your operator and your landlord are the same company. If you outgrow the centre, a conventional floor in a Hang Lung building is the same conversation with the same people. Members are also offered terms on Hang Lung's own offices, shops and serviced apartments.

Where They Are In Hong Kong

One building: the Standard Chartered Bank Building, at 4-4A Des Voeux Road Central.

The tower has 42 storeys and stands 191 metres, finished in 1990 to a Palmer and Turner design. It is Grade A, with twelve passenger lifts and one service lift. A typical office floor is about 7,585 sq ft lettable. Above the 17th floor the floor plate narrows every six floors, which is what gives the tower its stepped top.

Retail runs from the basement to the third floor, and the Standard Chartered branch is at street level. Net-Work has Levels 18 and 19 above it.

Central station Exit K brings you up at Statue Square, beside the HSBC main building next door. The walk is three minutes and the building has a covered link to the station and the footbridge network. Trams pass the door on Des Voeux Road Central. Central station runs underground to Hong Kong station, where the Airport Express leaves.

What The Spaces Are Like

Two whole levels, 13,000 sq ft, looking over Victoria Harbour. There are 27 private offices and 212 workstations. Every member gets a staffed reception, a pantry, a wellness room, meeting rooms with current conferencing equipment, and communal areas that convert into event space. Workstations raise and lower for standing and carry USB-C connections to the monitors. The fit-out uses low impact materials, energy saving systems and active air quality control.

Net-Work is very good at providing:

**One membership, two cities.** Members can work at HANGOUT in Hang Lung's mainland China buildings on the same membership. For a team that moves between Hong Kong and the mainland, that removes a second arrangement.

**Leasing terms from the landlord.** Members are offered terms across Hang Lung's Hong Kong offices, shops and serviced apartments. An operator that rents its floor from somebody else cannot do that.

**Event space inside the centre.** The communal areas convert for events, and the centre runs networking forums, industry mixers and wellness workshops. A client evening or a launch happens on your own floor.

What Net-Work Costs

A seat in a private office starts at HK$4,450 a month. A room for four is HK$17,800 a month.

Coworking space is HK$7,000 a month per person. That buys a place on the shared floor with the same reception, pantry and meeting rooms as the private offices.

The minimum term is three months, rather than the three year lease a conventional floor needs. The deposit is two months and the notice period is three months.

Who Net-Work Suits

Net-Work suits established companies that want a Central Grade A address without a conventional lease. It has one building, in Central.

That covers a lot of people. Regional and representative offices, project teams, professional firms, technology and media companies, and any team from one person upward. What they have in common is wanting a Central floor and a short contract.
