Pottinger Street's stone steps climb away from the door and the Li Yuen Street West market lane runs the other way.
Central station is 500 metres away, six minutes on foot, out of Exit D2, where the Island and Tsuen Wan lines meet. Hong Kong station is 410 metres away, five minutes, for the Airport Express and the Tung Chung line. Trams run along Des Voeux Road Central, one street north.

The walk from Central station is west along Queen's Road Central, uncovered. A visitor walks past the retail floors to reach the office lifts. Four lifts serve the 18 office floors. Pottinger Street's food shops run up the hill. Central Market at 93 Queen's Road Central is a short walk west, with more than 100 stalls. The lobby is not modern.
