Admiralty Centre Tower 1 is the taller of the two towers at 18 Harcourt Road, 32 storeys over the Admiralty station concourse. Cheung Kong finished the complex in 1980 and sold it floor by floor, so the towers sit with many individual owners. The bottom three floors are a shopping podium with banks, clinics and fast food, including the HKU SPACE Admiralty Learning Centre. The Queensway Plaza walkway outside the lobby carries you under cover to United Centre, Lippo Centre, Far East Finance Centre and Pacific Place.
Tower 1 rises 32 storeys and holds the larger floor plates of the complex. Admiralty station is 140 metres away, two minutes on foot. The Island, Tsuen Wan, South Island and East Rail lines all stop below the building, and the East Rail line crossed the harbour in May 2022: Kowloon Tong is seven minutes, Sha Tin one ride. Central is 860 metres west, eleven minutes along the walkway.
Compass Offices keeps serviced rooms through the tower, furnished and on a service agreement. A room for one is HK$4,000 a month, and rooms run to suites for more than twenty people.
